Proofreading focuses on surface errors (spelling, grammar, punctuation). Editing is more comprehensive—improving sentence structure, word choice, clarity, and flow. Our Basic service is proofreading; Standard and Premium include full editing.
We accept Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), PDF, Google Docs, LaTeX, RTF, and plain text. We return documents in the same format with track changes enabled.
Absolutely. All documents are encrypted during transfer and storage. Our editors sign NDAs, and we never share or use your content for any purpose other than editing. We can sign additional confidentiality agreements upon request.
Standard turnaround is 48 hours. We offer 24-hour Express (+50%) and 12-hour Rush (+100%) options. Exact turnaround depends on document length—we'll give you a specific deadline when you submit.
We use Microsoft Word's word count feature. This includes all text content. Tables, figures, and reference lists are typically excluded unless you request them reviewed.
Yes. If you're not satisfied, we'll revise your document for free. If we still can't meet your expectations, we offer a full refund within 30 days of delivery.
